About Us

About UsThe need for households and homeowners to become more environmentally efficient has never been more evident. Although local authorities provide the means to recycle eg. recycling points, and providing green boxes and bags for collection, it is still up to the individual to do their bit for the environment.

Householders can now face fines up to £5000 if they fail to take reasonable measures to ensure that their waste is dealt with properly, however waste management is not the only green issue that a householder must face. What can they do to ensure that the home they are living in is environmentally efficient? With this in mind it was decided that a new service should be provided. This service aim is to make recycling and using energy efficient products as easy as possible for the consumer.

We believe that there is a philosophical reason to use environmentally efficient products, and that is self-interest. We all have heard about global warming and many of us now believe that we can feel the effects. More and more children suffer from breathing problems, more and more people suffer from skin complains brought on from to much exposure to the sun. We as a people must do something even if it is just exchanging one lightbulb for a more efficient one. No one person can change the world but every person can make a small difference, and perhaps help save it ...

Customer Testimonials

"I have always wanted to be more environmentally friendly but it seamed such a bother to change all my appliances. The people at How Green is Your Home? really helped me understand that I don't have to do everything but I should do something." - Jim Goddard, Fulham

"My council wrote to all the residences in the borough telling us that we must start separating all the different types of recyclable material and put them in different bags, I don't have the time for that, so I put in all in just one or two bags and get it collected from the guys at How green is your home? I think it's a great idea." - Delia Byrne, Ham
